If so, there are a few unique ways that you can make money from home as a music reviewer.

Ultimate Work from home Guide with 100+ companies hiring now plus sites for extra cash https://payhip.com/b/lz3ov

Before you get started, remember that you are not required to be an expert in the music industry in order to make money as a music reviewer.  You just need to have a good ear for great music or have a passion for it.

Most of us enjoy listening to songs that inspire us, so anyone could venture into this profession, hobby, or side gig as a means to make some extra income.

Whether you are a teen or in your late 50s there is something on this list for everyone.  Here are some ideas that I have brainstormed that you can try that have also worked for others.

Music Xray

If you have followed me on my YouTube channel, you will see that one of the most viewed videos that I have ever created and uploaded was about how you can make money listening to songs on Music Xray.  In fact, this video has almost 900,000 views.  This indicates that there are a lot of people who are interested in generating some side income by making money listening to new songs from unknown artists.  Music Xray will pay you $0.10 to listen to a song for just 30 seconds each.

If you have a Music Xray account and you are still having an issue getting music to review, I would recommend that you check your fan match profile is enabled so that when there is new music to be reviewed, you will be notified via email based on your preferences and music taste. Check out the video below for more info.

Slicethepie

Another popular website that will pay you to not only listen to new music but to review fashion items before they appear in retail department stores as well as mobile apps.  Slicethepie will be coming out with a new mobile app that will make it easier for its members to review music on the go.  Slicethepie pays a few cents for every song you listen to for at least 90 seconds and you will be required to write a short review afterward.  You can cash out twice a week via PayPal as long as you have earned at least $10 in your account.  It is open to teens.  Read my review about Slicethepie and some tips that will help you to write a good review here.

UpWork

This is a company that partners freelancers with individuals and companies to complete online tasks for them in exchange for money.  They currently have some freelance gigs for music reviewers that you can apply to at their official website.  You can check out some of the paying music gigs that I found here.

Craigslist

Craigslist is another site that you can try to browse for paid music gigs.  Please note that Craigslist can be laced with multiple scams so try to do your research before you apply.  You can read some more tips about how to navigate Craigslist here. Click here to check out this paid gig for music reviewers and bloggers that I found on Craigslist today.

Fiverr

Fiverr may not be the first place that you may think of when it comes to reviewing music online but there are some Fiverr sellers that are making money from home doing just that.  They have set up their profiles to review music, listen to songs, and in some cases publish them on their blogs.  Fiverr is just another way to brand and market yourself as a music reviewer for extra cash.

Blogging

As you know, you can create a blog on virtually any topic or subject that you desire.  If you want to review new music and share your opinions and thoughts about it with others online, then writing reviews about it and posting it on your blog can help you to accomplish this goal.  You can make money by monetizing your blog with adverts from Google Adsense, other affiliate programs, sponsorships in the form of reviews, advertising banners, and more.  Blue Host is a company that I highly recommend that can get you set up with your own blog/website for less than $4 a month with a 30-day money-back guarantee.  This plan comes with your own domain name and email storage.  If you use Ebates, you will your website for free because they offer $10 cash back when you make a purchase with Blue Host.

Check out more of Blue Host’s features here and don’t forget to sign up with Ebates too!  You can also check out my online course entitled, “How to start a blog with Blogger or WordPress” and my book available on Amazon entitled, “How to Make Money Everyday Blogging for Full-Time Income” so that you will know exactly how you can easily set up your blog and some other helpful blogging information and knowledge about how you can make money blogging.

YouTube

If you would rather create videos about music reviews, creating a YouTube channel is also a great strategy that you could utilize to make money online.  You’d be surprised how many people will subscribe, watch, like and view your videos about your music preferences.  Using this platform will help you to build up an audience, inspire others and earn some extra cash in the process.  Your viewers may even wait to buy new music until they have seen your review.  How awesome is that!

Check out this YouTuber who has over 600,000 subscribers to his music review channel.

You can also try some of the “get paid to” sites that also allow their members to be compensated for listening to music online.
