Do you frequently use the Google search engine to browse websites, look for and research various topics, or even to gather information?  Are you looking for a non-phone work at home job?  Would you like to work more than 10 hours per week?  If so, Rater Labs is currently recruiting Internet Analysts in the United States that speak English to complete a variety of online tasks.

Although the job title Internet Analyst seems a little intimidating, I can assure you that it is similar to the search engine evaluator positions from companies like Leapforce, Lionbridge, Appen, and possibly I Soft Stone.  In fact, anyone who is internet savvy and can work independently is encouraged to apply to this company.  Here are some additional reasons why you may want to apply to RaterLabs.

What will an Internet Analyst do?

As an internet analyst, you will be given various tasks that are generated from your personalized content based on your Google account that is linked to your Gmail address.  The main objective of your job is to conduct research, evaluation, and feedback on search engine results.  You will also be required to measure the relevance and usefulness of web pages that relate to queries and provide a comparative analysis of sets of search engine results and various other techniques.  To keep it simple, you are going to be evaluating and improving search engine results for one of the world’s largest internet search engine companies.

What kind of technical equipment will I need?

RaterLabs requires their Internet Analysts to have high-speed Internet connection and possess and use an Android, Windows, or iPhone.  Specifically a 4.1 version smartphone or higher.  There is no other computer equipment that you will have to purchase or obtain to apply to this company.

Do I need previous experience?

Absolutely not.  RaterLabs focuses more on the candidate’s skills rather than their experience.  So the ideal candidates will have excellent web research skills and analytical abilities, a broad range of interests, excellent comprehension and written communication skills in the English language, and be up-to-date with American social culture, media, and web culture.  If you have a degree from a university or equivalent experience you may be a perfect fit for this job.  Those who are in the process of getting a degree would also be accepting applicants.

What is RaterLabs looking for in the remote workers?

RaterLabs is very direct in the kind of individual that would have a good chance of getting offered a contract to work for them.  Here are some specifics listed in their job description.

  • You must be highly educated.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Highly active users of Google’s search engine and other products.
  • Use Google Play at least once a week.
  • Have a Gmail account with web history turned on.

How many hours will I be required to work?

RaterLabs needs their Internet Analysts to work at least 10 but no more than 26 hours each week.  This is a part-time non-phone work at home job.

What is the application process like?

I have never applied to this particular company as of yet but I do know that there are at least 2 steps in the application process.  The first would be to provide your contact information that will include uploading your resume, giving details about your education status, and other personal information including any details about your internet usage and capabilities.  The next step would be to read over your study materials for a 3 part exam as a part of the screening process before you can move forward as an Internet Analyst for RaterLabs.

Are there any other jobs similar to RaterLabs?

As I mentioned in the outset, there are a few companies that mimic this job description that you can apply to, if you don’t get the job for RaterLabs including Appen, Lionbridge, Leapforce (which has recently been acquired by Appen), and Teemwork.ai.

How do I apply to RaterLabs?

You can visit their official website and apply for their Internet Analyst position here.  If you live outside the US or speak another language other than English, please feel free to browse over their current work at home opportunities and apply accordingly.  This company has global positions as well.  You can view those international work at home jobs here.

Why I recommend this opportunity?

I recently found out about this company and I think it would be a great job to supplement your online income if you work another job, are in college, need to work part-time, or would like a flexible schedule and prefers a non-phone work at home job.  This company offers competitive pay to their remote workers and you can learn a lot of random things by completing a variety of tasks.  Because it is an entry-level job, it allows you a chance to get your foot in the door (so to speak) and build up a nice portfolio to include on your resume as you apply to more sophisticated or technical positions.  You will be viewed as a dependable, reliable, hard-working person especially if you are able to retain employment for at least 6 months or more.

Don’t forget to apply to RaterLabs here.  If you are thinking about applying to RaterLabs have experience working for this company, please leave me your comments below and share with us your reasons for doing so.
