If you are a teenager and looking for ways to make money from home, look no further because there are real companies that hire those who are at least 16 to work as a virtual agent.  Even if you have little to no experience working for a company, many of these employers either provide you with online training with detailed instructions so that you can have good job performance and be confident performing your job duties or it is pretty self-explanatory – meaning something that you already do or engage in online.

All of these companies are currently looking for teens to work right from their home office, so you can apply online today.  Before you apply, make sure you read over all the job details to see if you have the computer equipment in your home that you will need and the hours can fit your needs and lifestyle.  I will also provide you with some additional money-making opportunities for teens that you can start this weekend.

Work at home Companies that Hire Teens

This company has a solid reputation for recruiting home agents to complete freelance work in various tasks.  You will be an independent contractor which means this company will not take any taxes out.  If you happen to earn over $600 in a year, you will need to report your earnings when you file your taxes for next year.  Appen is currently looking for social media users of all ages to improve the relevancy and newsfeed for a leading global social-media client.  You are required to work 1-4 flexible hours a day for 5 days a week.  So your hours can range from 5 to 20 each week. Please keep in mind that some projects may require you to work one weekend day.   All that is required is for you to have a computer that is less than 3 years old, fast internet connection, and be a daily user of social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and so forth.  Mac computers are also allowed for this job.

This well-known company has several openings that they are trying to get filled in:  roadside assistance agents, E-storage sales reps, E-customer service agents, and center sales reservation agents.  You will be required to attend a virtual training online for 4 weeks.  The training is paid.  You must enjoy helping people, can communicate via instant messenger, and have a good understanding of US geography.  You will need a USB headset and be currently enrolled in school or have a high school diploma or GED.  This job pays $8.25 per hour plus bonus.  They hire in multiple states.

This company is great for teens because just like Appen, it is non-phone work with the exception that you are not required to meet daily or hourly requirements.  You can work as much or as little as you want whenever you want.  This is a job that you could even take a break from for a while and come back to when you are ready.  They are always recruiting call reviewers to listen to or spy or recorded phone calls.  You will sort them into categories based on if someone answered the phone, the call was forwarded to the right department, there was no answer, the call was picked up by the answering machine, and so forth.  The calls last about 1-2 minutes on average.  You can train for this job in less than an hour.  You will need a PayPal account and speakers to hear the calls.  Humanatic even has a mobile app that you can download and sort the calls right from your smartphone.  The pay is weekly as long as you have $10 in your account.  You can read my full review about Humanatic here and what is the best time to review the calls for a bonus here.  The application process for Humanatic is very easy with less than 5 questions for you to answer.  After you have applied, you should hear back from Humanatic within the week.  This is a job that you could start by the weekend or Monday at the latest.  Please use email address as the person that sent you to Humanatic.

Thanks! My teenage girl is currently looking for a job, but never thought of making her work online. Always seen this as a grown-up thing! 🙂
